Lava Boulders are volcanic rock that has been formed out of an active volcano. Volcanic Lava boulders bear the properties of all volcanic rock in being lightweight and porous, yet permanent. These boulders come in two colors, deep red burgund (red) and black charcoal(Black), both colors are fade resistant and will stand out in any landscape application. Lava Boulders, while lightweight in comparison to more traditional stone boulders, are still movement resistant and can lend an attractive visual aspect to a landscape design. Lava boulders can serve as an anchor or focal point around which to present complementary plants and shrubs.
